I really prefer that we get this working first and then talk again about
usefulness, API issues etc. We are clearly stating that the API is not
set in stone yet. And that is on purpose since we still have some areas
where we have to see what makes most sense in practice and how it plays
together with other systems.

In some cases we better add a configuration option to a global config
file instead of exposing this via a D-Bus. In other cases D-Bus is the
better choice. For me the attach policy sounds like a configuration
option that the system integrators should be choosing at package time
depending on operator preference/requirement.
